I Surrender!

OK, I give up. The chairs are going in the back yard and the for sale signs are going in the trash.

I had the things out on the front porch for a week trying to get rid of them and nobody was interested.

Then tonight I saw an ad on teevee that Ace Hardware has folding adirondack chairs for $50.00. So I went to their website and confirmed it.

I can't even make the non-folding ones for that.

So screw it. I'll just have an awful lot of lawn furniture. Just in case somebody stops by.

All of my dreams of becoming the next adirondack chair mogul down the drain.

Pfui.

But I am definitely going to have to find something smaller to build next. I'm running out of space.

Anybody need a birdhouse?

  1. Start doing unique art furniture. Artfully designed tables with different woods. I sold every one I ever made for sale. Folk art tables sell well, too.

  2. Guy remember where he lives he'd do better if he painted them NASCAR colors or tacked flattened budweiser cans to them as decorations.

  3. Critter- If I painted bible verses on them they would sell like hotcakes. Don't worry. I won't.

  5. If there is a espresso stand where you live and people willing to pay $5 for a cup of coffee, you can sell them an artistic table.

  6. Epresso stand! ROFLMAO!!! Oh Rev you really need to invite guy out for a visit.

Guy, my dad and his wife take their own coffee when they go back for a visit. The first time they went my dad actually did an internet search for the nearest Starbucks and was shocked to his core how far away one was.

I don't drink coffee but I take my own teas since I refuse to drink lipton which seems to be the only choice most of the time. My husband isn't a coffee addict but it's the first thing he gets when we land back in Portland.

  7. Guy & Critter- I think we actually do have a coffee house here now. It showed up on facebook as being somewhere around here. haven't been there yet, tho. Don't have five bucks to blow on a cup of coffee. Now if i had sold some chairs...
