TGIF

Yeah.

Wednesday is going to be Wear Purple For Peace Day, Biographers Day, Sea Monkeys Day and Coquilles St Jacques Day (whatever the snap THAT is).

Thursday will be Pack Rat Day, National Cherry Cobbler Day and World Information Society Day.

Friday will be International Museum Day and Visit Your Relatives Day as well as National Cheese Souffle' Day.

Take your sea monkeys to the park!

Doug should be happy about Friday. He will need to doodle a French post that day. Curiously, have you ever played any of the RE games?

    1. Spitfire- I have played all of the Resident Evil games I could get my hands on. And watched all of the movies.

  2. Can I visit my relatives at the museum? Kill two birds with one stone? Ooooh, is there a day for that? Or maybe a "Mutilate 15 birds with a cheese grater" day?

    1. Bryan- That only counts if your relatives are exhibits in the museum.

      Cheese grater..... sheesh!

  3. Bugga, 'tis now Saturday in my part of the world; missed the 'purple' bit. Doubt if any 'biographer' would be interested in my boring life; and 'sea monkeys are about 100 miles away .... however ...

This Coquilles Saint-Jacques recipe is traditionally served on little scallop shells, but ovenproof ramekins are a great substitution. It features scallops and mushrooms, sautéed in butter with seasonings, and then made even richer with a Gruyere and breadcumb topping. Coquilles Saint-Jacques is most often eaten as a first course, or appetizer, but can be used as a delicious seafood entrée.

    1. Davoh- Since you are across the dateline, allowances can be made.

And that stuff sounds yummy! I'm a fan of seafood. Especially when it involves butter and cheese.
